Audio jack to usb for PS3

Accidentaly put my bluetooth headset through the wash. So was wandering if I can use my pc headset, which uses standard 3.5mm(?) jacks. Will any 3.5mm to usb work?

I have heard good reports on a USB 2.0 SOUNDCARD 3D SURROUND 5.1 PC OR LAPTOP PS3, that you can get on line for about a £5, you can aslo use things like turtle beach X1s with them so i guess your PC headphones will work.
