Hi

I hope I have posted this in the right section of the forum

I am looking for a program that will sort out the audio on dowloaded movie files

If I convert a file to dvd I seem to have a problem where the audio is out of sync with the film, most of the time it is three quarters of the way through the film

Can any one suggest a good program that will not suffer with this issue

Have you checked to see if the video you downloaded is out of sync before you convert it to DVD? What program are you using to convert? Sometimes a video file will remain out of sync regardless of what you do to correct it and you may just have to redownload a different version of the video file.

Is it a low spec PC and are you using your PC while its burning?

Used to get this on my laptop when you used it while burning.

Use a lower burn speed, I always use 4x as anything higher it just messes up. Selecting 2 pass encoding can help as well.

I recommend using the program ConvertXToDVD, it's does a lot better job than Nero.

can you try playing the files from disk and not convert to DVD. I would suggest VLC player to do this (easily downloaded and free) as this has certainly produced what I have needed that Media Player couldn't play.
