Ok, firstly I know the card is crap - I always figured it was just an OEM X-FI, until recently when I learned that it is probably no beeter than the Audgiy 2 it replaced.
But I would like some kind of front panel I could connect headphones to. When I bought it, the guy did say that it had a connector for the front headphone connectors that come with some towers.
Now, unfortunately my tower does not have one of these, and I would like to be able to connect headphones without going round the back of pc and unplugging speakers and plugging in headphones.
Also, I don't want to fork out £50 or so for a creative front panel simply for the benefit of being able to connect headphones, even if I do upgrade my sound card, I still don't want to fork out the extra simply for that one use.
Is there any work-around for me in this issue? Or is shelling out £50 extra on a creative bay (or new card with drive) my only option.
I seriously hope there is an option, because like I said, £50 is a lot of money simply to connect headphones...
