I'm looking into getting an audio setup for my living room.
Currently I have a 55" Samsung Plasma, Mac mini running Plex Home Theatre (also hosts the plex media server), a rarely used DVD player, a couple of rarely used gaming consoles. The Mac also runs AirServer, allowing me to AirPlay from devices to it.
All I need is better speakers for movies and music. It doesn't need to be amazing, but better than the TV speakers.
My light research has got me to something along the lines of:
Denon AVR-X1000 or something similar
Pair of bookshelf speakers like Q Acoustics Q2010I
Can anyone suggest something a lot better? I'd be willing to spend more if it was worth it.
