Wondering what my options are for an audio solution for my partners car, the issues is that the car that she's got doesn't have a USB slot or Bluetooth so making things a little tricky. On a good note it does have an Aux port so can use something with a 3.5mm jack.

I stumbled across the Belkin Aircast Auto which seems like the perfect option as the car does have a lighter socket right next to the Aux in the arm rest, as well as a whole host of cheaper alternatives, but has anyone tried this or some of the other similar options and how have they worked out?

We did have a look at upgrading the manufacturer fitted radio, but this came to several hundred £'s and lots of labour on top, can't say we fancied that option, but any other suggestions, please add them.

I have the following - which if you Google - you should find the retailer :)
TECEVO Bluetooth 4.0 Handsfree Car Kit - Bluetooth Music Receiver , NFC Quick Pairing , AUX Jack Playing Music And Hands Free Calling Car Adapter

It's been 100% okay for me, have run it in the Civic since I've owned it and would definitely recommend it.

You can skip tracks, pause, play, answer calls etc from the buttons on it.

What car is it? maybe have a look at some of the connects 2 kits?
It's an '09 BMW 3 Series. Doesn't have any phone prep either so as I said, we've investigated the cost of the install and we're looking at just under £500.

Ok, that's a good start, a much cheaper option and a genuine review of it.
