Im looking for a way to extract the audio stream from a .wmv video file, clean it up, then re-attach the audio stream to the video file. I already have all the software required to mess with the audio, but not for the video stuff. Any recommendations?

Probably not the best way to do it, but you could just use something like Audacity to copy the sound as you play the video. It's freeware and it's good - encodes mp3 with the lame encoder too if you need it.

I would put it into Premier, export the audio, import it into audition, fix it and import it back into Premier.

Thats assuming you have these of course
