Audio Streaming.

Howzit guys,

Just want to know, will audio streaming from my local radio station take a lot of bandwith? Say, if I listened to it for like 8hrs or so..?

just do a little maths....

192kbps stream = 24kb/s second
1.44mb a minute
86.4mb an hour
691.2mb 8 hours

could be a lot less depending on the quality of the stream. i'm sure you can work it out.

How would I find out the quality of it?

is it not clearly marked on the site you're streaming from. even if it's not, your media player should tell you....

Not as far as I can see. The site uses it's own built in media player, which doesn't show quality status.
