Audit software that pickes up Adobe keys?

Hi all,

I have a client who's running open audit, but it doesn't seem to pickup their Adobe licenses. They need to make sure they are compliant and are asking how they can get an audit to pick up which Adobe software is installed and what keys have been used.

Is there anything I can suggest to them to use as an alternative to open audit? Or is there a way to get open audit to reliably report on Adobe software?

Thanks,

G

Thanks for that. I should have said, I'm looking to do this on multiple machines. Belarc will likely work, but would mean someone going round each machine and running it.

As this is for a large organisation this isn't practical sadly.

arh well in that case you'll have to spend some money...

I use asset tracker for networks. A small client runs on each machine at log on (done via gpo) and creates an xml file for each machine.

then there is a reporting tool that will scan these xml files and create reports for you.

pretty good in my experience. Has help me do software audits for the passed 3 years with over 600 machines reported.

How many machines were you thinking? You could look at spiceworks it does a lot of inventory stuff but it can look at product keys. I'm not sure if it will get adobe stuff so you will need to investigate.
