Thanks for the heads up but im near portsmouth so doubt anything will come down this far. I have installed the app and the map looks like anyone from the midlands up could get a view if its clear.
 
Same here, the Lancaster Uni app by any chance? :)

Looking out of my window and we have clear skies overhead, hopefully we'll see them as my one disappointment about going to Iceland a few weeks ago was that we didn't see them.
 
Was red all over the UK, now gone to Amber - Scotland and Northern England / Ireland likely to see it :|
 
I'm in the east midlands. All evening it's been foggy here. Is there some kind of law that whenever there's anything interesting to see in the sky like auroras, eclipses, meteor showers etc, it has to be obscured by the weather?
 
Think I can just see some effect of it (Somerset) maybe... some really high up "haze" thats coming and going bit hard to describe and impossible to photograph.

It could be visible in London or it could be the streetlights...:p
