Went out looking for some Aurora Borealis the other night... good trip out

No, I'm slightly further north, Google the Isle of Lewis, an island off the north west Scottish coast. These were taken on the Braighe, a beach just outside the main town of stornoway to be exact

Great Shots!

I saw them in Saariselka (northern Finland) at the beginning of last year, quite a spectacular thing when they are right over your head, I only wish I had a proper DSLR to capture them instead of the point and shoot I used. Mind in the -30 temp the camera froze so wasn't even sure whether the pics had worked!
