First set to Djokovic on a tiebreaker, second set to Murray on a tiebreaker and we're already close to 3 hours of tennis

Absolutely nothing to choose between the two and it's been brutal so far

Great first couple of sets from both players, Murray fallen over time and looks tired, but not bad for the first slam considering how he finished last year.

On the flip side, Murray loses his head so easily and he's unable to get things under control again. If he had the mentality of Federer or Nadal he'd have won 5 or 6 slams by now.

Probably but like it should be with Nadal's short excavations I'd like to see Djokovic warned for gamesmanship of that sort.

6-0 is rather harsh in the 4th set though, the tennis had been brilliant and so equal for about 2.5 sets. If Murray had been able to capitalise in the first tiebreak then it could have been so different but no matter, Djokovic played well for more of the match and deserved the win.

Not really sure what they can do. There have been plenty of occasions when Djokovic has been down, suddenly decides he's injured then just pulls out of games. Best front runner around but he's worse than Murray when he's behind. Just doesn't happen very often these days.

That was a horrendous meltdown. At 2-3 in the third he was gone from there. I said he looked mentally ready to win a slam again, so full of confidence and fight in earlier games but once he let the lead slip in the third set he gave up. You cannot give Djoko an inch of room.

Not a fan of Djokovic's gamesmanship and general attitude, but Murray needs to sort his head out in games like these. He was on top in the first and third and let them both slip.

Lendl seems to be the difference between Murray winning finals and getting ****ed - I agree with the point on commentary that he doesn't seem like the type to tolerate Murray's tantrums.
