Australian PSN store music videos DL

Anyone managed to log onto the Aussie PSN store fancy having a look at this.

On the PS Store, you can find PS3 demos and trailers, PSN games, PSOne-to-PSP games, movie trailers and an assortment of other gaming related media. On the Australian PS Store, you've got the same, only there's much less of it. However, the Australian store will tomorrow be receiving a worldwide exclusive.

At a Sony press event today, it was announced that the Sony games division in Australia and Sony BMG have come to an arrangement, where ten music videos will be provided for download from the PS Store, free of charge. While this is being billed as a trial, this is the first time that the PS Store will have content that is not specifically related to games.

We were not told exactly which music videos will be available, but we'll report back to you as soon as we find out, which should be quite soon

Meh if I wanted music videos that badly on the PS3 I'd just go on YouTube on the browser.

I bet it will just be all pop/rap/rnb music as well.

I'd think The Killers and Beyonce to be 2, as those were 2 of the artists shown in the Singstar PSN movie from e3.

The videos are free to all registered PlayStation Network users down under. Currently, there are 10 songs available on the PlayStation Store and they are listed below:

Rogue Traders--In Love Again
Pete Murray--So Beautiful
Augie March--Cold Acre
Damien Leith--Night of my life
Kate Miller-Heidke--Words
Dean Geyer--If You Don't Mean It
Amy Pearson--Don't Miss You
Old Man River--La
The Androids--Whole Lotta Love
Small Mercies--Innocent

Think most are Australian artists, I guess its a start.

That was a cool tune, forgot about that. Rogue traders thats the band with izzy from neighbors in, Izzy 1080P nice.

Guess the Aussies wouldn't have heard of some of our bands, but Rogue Traders I would have thought most people would have heard off, and perhaps the Androids but hey its a console forum not a music one.

Damien Leith--Night of my life = hes ok, was an Australian Idol singer

Dean Geyer--If You Don't Mean It = Defenatly a gayer, comes from Australian Idol and only got so far because the 13 year old girls thought he was hot.

BTW 'Izzy' Hasnt always been the lead singer of the rogue traders.

And damm them for using my sharona as part of one of there songs!!

I had heard of them prior though, and they were very good - not as good as Girls Aloud mind
