Auto App Killer?

On my phone, RAM can somewhat be limited so I'm looking for an App that will auto kill all the apps running in the background that are using RAM.

Does an App like this exist?

Mobile OSs are not like desktop OSs. They will automatically kill off applications in the background if required; until then, they will hold them in a "frozen" state.

Clean Master does this. It has a task manager which can be set to run automatically from the settings menu and it's free

If you're running Android 4.0+ you would only need this for shutting down apps and you can do that in the task switcher anyway by swiping them sideways. Lamboman is right though, for 99% of people you want to be leaving it alone. Task managers are more a thing from the 2.0 era when first generation apps used to go mental for RAM allocation.

As everyone has mentioned, it can do more harm than good on your phone. I tried it on my 512mb RAM phone and to be honest it caused more hassle and didn't make the phone feel any snappier. Rooting and flashing a different ROM/kernal did wonders on the other hand .
