Auto Assault MMORPG to Close!

If anyone actually cares, Auto Assault is to close on August 31st due to lack of subscribers. I think that's about a year since it hit retail? Anyone here affected by the closure?

The announcement doesn't really surprise me, I'm just surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Spotted this earlier so I took a look in their forums.

Seems many are trying to band together to keep the game going somehow. Offers of free servers etc.

Seems like it was a very shortlived MMO.

If NCSoft had listened to me - I told them in beta its a pile of cack. Logged in and played for all of 4min and knew that the concept wouldnt work. They tried to cheat and simply attempted to use the City of Heroes game engine for a car game.... FAILED

I played the trial..for all of 5mins come to the same conclusion as you really, not really affected by this loss.

i bought it cos it had a really good concept, playedit for a few days but it was just crap

me and a mate got it at same time to play together, he was the only other person i ever saw

I played the beta too (for 5 minutes), im surprised it lasted a year because,

No surprises there then, it was a bad game
