Is there any software or fan controllers that could automatically control my case and CPU cooler fans and turn them off below a certain temp, looking to go silent or as near as possible

Yeah you want Speedfan, its a free download and theres plenty of guides on youtube to help you set it up, i think even Jayztwocents has done one.

Are your fans pwm (4 pin)?

I use speedfan to control my fans, it's not the easiest to set up but it works well.

Gigabyte have there own software but I didn't like it.

I would avoid turning fans off completely. My cheap ocuk brand pwm fans are silent at there lowest speed.
With no airflow at all air within your case will get hot, a small aamoun of airflow helps a lot.

Turning your fans off completely is handy if your min startup speed is really high like 800+ rpm or if your using many fans. If your only using 10 or less fans and they have a low startup speed then ya probably good to just keep them low running. I would always keep a couple of them going just to keep things cool idle.

I have 17 of mine turn off completely when idle and just keep 5 quiet ones going at low speed to keep my water loop and PWM area cool.

All 5 of my fans are 3pin. I had a look on the bios and the noctua fan was running about 2 or 3 times the speed of the rest of them even tho they are all set to the same, I disconnected it and the noise has reduced dramatically. Would sppedfan work or do I need to replace the fans first? Also I thought noctua fans were ment to be quiet??
