Must say that I'm pretty impressed with the auto over clock that's available on this board. And that's a first for me, usually they are pants.

Click that little knob on the motherboard a couple of notches, boot up and there is a fully stable 4.6 overclock. Even oc'd the memory slightly to.

Looked in the BIOS to see what it had changed and its pretty much what you would have done manually. The voltage, even at 4.6, is lower than it sets for stock! Crazy, but it runs almost 10c cooler in IBT (60c rather than 70c) .

Though must admit that at stock, using dynamic voltage control (as it does obviously) , it hits 1.35v in things like IBT and prime95. As usual, just goes to show how much voltage it gives the CPU in dynamic mode. Talk about beeing on the side of caution.

One thing that has also caught my eye. Is how fast the temps recover after running at full load for a while. It's almost instantaneous.

So far quite impressed with my skylake rebuild.

Now I just need that m2 nvme drive to install windows 10 on at some point.
