Hi all,
hopefully a quick answer will come for this:
one of our users "all of a sudden" gets a this (see below) appear when she tries to do a save as on a file;

It looks like a kind of strapline to me where you select the info from the list and it stamps the file with that info on.
She doesn't want it, and i'm convinced she's probably hit a keyboard shortcut to turn it on, but none of our cad users know how to turn it off.
i don't use cad and am charged with sorting the issue out.

Any advice please?

That is usually a pull down option in the save as dialogue, but I've never seen it like that. It isn't usually a compulsory option.

You could have a look in options and re-set the save as file type there, might help, or load a different user profile, that tends to fix the odd quirk, just back up the current one first.

Problem is AutoCAD has plenty of ways of doing enverything, they're always adding new features, and they never take anything out.

If it's just a single file giving the problem it could be a legacy format and AutoCAD is asking how it's meant to be re-saved.
