need help to chamfer the edges of my guitar, i dont want it to be the same all the way around....

When i try and chamfer just the corners it just says error to big basicly. Even if i make a 0.0001mm chamfer (3d drawing is to scale length wise) it still says error to big...

anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like either it is not possible due to interference on a couple of surfaces, or you scale isn't correct somehow! Try a radius instead of a chamfer. Also, make a cube the same size and try it on there.

works fine on the long sections but when it comes to the sharp bits it interferes and doesnt work at all.

VERY small fillets work fine, i do mean small, if i set them to 0.1 its fine, but not notice able. Unless you mean another thing by radius ?

"Failed to perform blend.
Failure while chamfering. "

Thats the error

some of your lines aren't connected properly. Zoom in as far as you can and check they are all connected to the vertex'.

It's a pain in the ass when you have multiple surfaces too, you may also have a line connected to the chamfer point somewhere, without knowing.

Anyway, I much prefer solidworks :p. As said, the lines might not be 'right'. I only have loads of experience with AutoCAD r14 (The last great version in my eyes!) and still find it excellent for 2D work.
