Hey people. I am really stuck on my first year autocad project, we have to pick an object and model it using the 3rd angle view. I was wondering here if anybody is able to help me, I know so little about autocad. The lecturer has given us hardly any help and everybody is stuck! I have tried in vain to search on the net for tutorials and such that might be able to help me. This is worth 20% of m grade and due in, in 3 weeks and I am really starting to panic.
I am basically looking for a book or a tutorial which I could just copy. The object must be fairly complicated, the more complicated the better the mark. Any autcad pro's out there that could help me?

We have to draw a 3D model and create a 3rd angle view of it. I am really stuck as i am such an autocad novice. It is Autocad 2006. I was looking at drawing a drill but I am finding it so hard to do. My next idea is to do my house as I think this will be easier because it has no curves etc. Just straight lines. Ideally I am looking for a good example that I could use, that has a thorough explanation of everything too.

I have decided to do a drill as a test piece before I begin my coursework for real. Would anyone be willing to do this for me? I would be so grateful. I dunno perhaps someone here is bored and a bit of a cad pro or just wants to show off their skills.... I can send pics of the test object.

Look mate, we'll help you learn but there ain;t no way anyone here is gonna do it for you. That's cheating for you exam and you don;t help yourself in the long run.

I had to teach myself how to use AutoCAD but it was worthwhile as I'm now quite good and ppl now ask me for help. Perservere - it'll be worth it :)

Yeh it must be cheating for my exam actually, an exam which I do not have unless my lecturer has told you something that he has not told the rest of us. I was asking someone to draw the drill to show me how to draw in 3d, my chosen piece is to draw my house anyway. Read before you reply mate.

No, I am sorry. I am just really stressed about this and am frustrated by not being able to understand how to do this. If I am stuck on maths I read a book and learn it very quickly.....but this is different and I am stressing out.
