Autoglass alternative?

Hello all.

I have a little chip in my windscreen and am wanting it repaired.

Just checked on Autoglass and it says £60 approx for the resin fix.

Are there any other companies who will do the same job for less?

I got mine done for 30 quid, by a local place, on the C4 Real good job, too!

Have a quick google, for me it turned up about 3 local places then it was just question of ringing around.

Sods law the first one I came across and spoke to had a C3 project in the garage so knocked off the VAT & various other little instances.......Ah, the joys of ownership eh!

Should be able to get something similar though, no doubt!

might be worth ringing them up and asking to have glass cover added to your policy. Some will, some won't. Mine did and it was still cheaper (Albeit marginally) than going fully comp.

If your car is actually worth something it really is worth paying the extra as my uncle found out last week.
