autolock windows

is there a software that will automatically lock my windows xp pro machine after a period of inactivity? I know there is standby, but I dont want that!

Screensaver. Just set "on resume, password protect?"

was just about to say the same. or turn it off

and password the on bootup. or just log out of windows and have password on all users.

on a related note is there any way to lock a PC without WinKey+L as my laptop does not have a windows key

create a shortcut on your desktop/quick launch toolbar. set the command to this....

rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

you can even change the icon so it looks like a padlock (right click icon, properties, change icon, change the file to shell32.dll then browse the icons)
