I am wanting to either use an exisiting piece of software or customise one to be able to run a program, than runs a full backup of a newly installed system and then burns it onto a blank dvd.

The key thing is I want the dvd to be bootable and fully automated, so if the third party places it into their dvd drive and boots from it it takes them through restoring their machine to its former glory.

Also possibly rather than burning it to disc, make a small 5GB partition on the hard drive hidden in which to keep the backup.

Has anyone done anything like this and know about the best way to go about it?

Thanks In Advance! :)

-can do both of the tasks you require (althought it's not fully automated) -you could easily write instructions though, its all looks like xp when it runs the program
