Automated screenshot program?

Hi,

I need a program that I can leave running that will take screenshots at 6 different times throughout the day and then save them as bmp/jpg on a shared drive. Hopefully one that will save them as the date & time or allows incremental name saves.

Any suggestions?

Other option is for me to try and write my own! :eek:
 
Timesnapper. I've never used it, but by the looks of things it'll do what you want it to. Seems you can get a free 'classic' version too.

Looks interesting, I might have a play myself actually. :)
 
thanks shoot, I'll check it out.

The reason is that 6 times a day we are supposed to fill a spreadsheet in with the number of people in our chat rooms. However it isn't being done consistantly meanign that its useless. My idea is simple to have a program take a screen shot of the chat program (and room totals) and save them with a time/date stamp. This way I can make sure that we have all the data! :D

Does your chatroom software not have a programmable API that would allow you to grab this data and automatically put it in a CSV file that you could then import into Excel for pretty graphage purposes?
 
No idea mate, we are struggling just to get the chat program working properly never mind getting them to implement something like this although it would be a good idea.
