Hi there,

I want to know how I can get my important documents folder within my USB drive to automatically backup once a day and save it to two of my storage hard drives. If I could select specific folders and entire sub-folders as well that would be even better (whole folder is about 500mb but the documents I need are only around 100mb). After recently losing my USB drive and having a week-old backup (unfortunately was pretty outdated) I want to make it an automated job to be worry-free of.

Better yet is there anyway drop box can automatically backup and keep older versions of that file too?

I'm always losing everything.. even an external hard drive once so I think it's best I just purchase a lot of cheap usbs that I won't miss.

You could use something like SyncbackSE which can detect when a USB stick is inserted: you can then trigger a copy to your Dropbox folder or wherever. It also lets you specify what to include/exclude.

Dropbox keeps old revisions as standard. Right-click on a file in your Dropbox folder > View previous versions.

I'd probably do it with a batch file or something but that's a little more manual (you'd have to double-click it..)
