Automatic backup over network?

Hi,

I have put an old P4 into use as a headless linux box running Debian 5.

I never really had any idea of what to use it for, it was something i just wanted to 'have a go at'. Turns out it runs quite well. I SSH into the command line and then start a VNCserver so i can use GNOME (i'm not all that clued up on the terminal)

What would be a good idea i thought was if there was some software that would allow me to backup both my main pc and my ladys laptop automatically. At the moment i'm just drap'n'droping folders over.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Are your main PC and laptop running Linux?

If so Rsync would be perfect, automatic incremental backups.
