Hi,

I'm sure that previously versions of MacOS had a schedule option, which allowed the user to specify a time for the machine to start up, or close down.

Looked everywhere and can't find this with Sonoma.

I want to start up the machine at different times depending on the day of the week. Ditto to shut it down.

I don't have easy access to the power button, so want to automate this.

I don't want to use the sleep function (e.g. just leave the computer until it "sleeps") as for some reason, despite booting from the internal disk of my new Mac Mini, when the machine restarts I'm told there has been a problem and my machine restarted, annoying!

Can it be done within the OS, or is there a small app that can do this for me?

Thanks in advance.
