Ho-Kay, in a nutshell, is there any way to automate this...

Take an InDesign file, and output a print-ready pdf, 2 separate EPS files including crop marks (front and back of the design), and 2 separate images (front and back) at a specific size.

I'm pretty sure what the answer will be but hey ho, thought I'd ask :)

InDesign has actions right? It's a long shot, but could work.

You should be able to record all of those actions and set them to run sequentially. It will never be fast, but it will do it all in one go.

the problems with InDesign actions (if indeed the exist) is that some of the process needs other apps...

you can't print crop marks to EPS files, and can't output images to a specific size, only resolution...

Thought maybe I could use applescript or something fancy, some of it needs illustrator, some needs photoshop...

My experience with ID is quite limited so I can't really help further sorry, but I can't believe you can't have crop marks on EPS, or output images to a specific size.

When you say you can output to a specific resolution.. I assume you can't just work out your size for the dpi you are working at using the res?
