I'm trying to find a simple solution to try and automate a very manual process we have at the momemnt hopefully with the use of some kind of scheduled vbscript or something, any help would be very much appreciated.
At the moment we have an excel sheet which has an msquery in it that pulls stock data from sage line 50 via odbc and then we save this data daily as a csv. If possible I would like to try and get this scripted and bung it in task scheduler generating the csv every day automatically. I'm no script kiddie so I was hoping to google and find a scipt I could just bung the odbc connection details in and the select statement from msquery but so far my google-fu has failed me.
