It wasn't his greatest ever season, I think any Jenson fan must concede that... he must be a likeable chap.

Again I cannot fathom why Lewis fans feel he was so hard done by by the team. He had exactly the same amount of bad luck whether it be slow stops or mechanical failures as button yet people seem to remember only Lewis' misfortunes on that front.

Fact is Lewis didn't capitalise on his pole positions and if it wasn't for reliability problems it was him undoing his hard work on Saturdays and going backwards in the race.

I don't dislike Hamilton or his fans, however deluded they are.

And here's the stats which I also posted in the Brazil thread:

Slow Pit Stops

Jenson Button (China) 1
Lewis Hamilton (Malaysia) (Bahrain) 2

Fuel Saving Team errors

Jenson Button (Australia) 1
Lewis Hamilton (Spain) 1

Car Faults

Jenson Button (Bahrain- Vibration) (Italy - Fuel Pressure) 2
Lewis Hamilton (Singapore - Gearbox) (Abu Dhabi - Fuel Pressure) 2

Collisions - Other Driver's Fault

Jenson Button (Monaco - hit by Kova) (Korea - hit by KK) 2
Lewis Hamilton (Belgium - hit by Grosjean) 1

Collisions - Driver's Fault

Lewis Hamilton (Spain - hits Maldo) 1

Punctures - Not the Driver's Fault

Lewis Hamilton (Germany) 1

Strategic Errors

Jenson Button (Hungary - 3 stop) 1

Total Handicaps

Jenson Button 7
Lewis Hamilton 8

Or maybe people just like Jenson more, who doesn't have the petulance that Lewis carries with him.
