autostart.ini

Hi,
I'm struggling with this,
got a folder with some html pages in , the main been start.htm

i have created a autorun.ini file with the following in

Code:

[autorun]
open=start

also tried

Code:

[autorun]
open=start.html

and

Code:

[autorun]
open=shellrun.exe start.html

both ini file and start.html are in the root of the burned cd.
put into cd drive, and it don't work, just the windows what do you want to do with the cd window pops up.

What am i doing wrong? do i need a autorun.bat as well? and what would go in them both?

the file is supposed to be called autorun.inf

and test with iso images and a mounting tool before wasting disks.

Do we have autostarts still? Or has the "choose what you want to do" box overridden it?

Can't see the point in this at all.

Thanks, needed an autorun.bat in there as well. This over rides the what do you want to do box.
The point is getting the audience to the correct page.
