Autotrader Typos

Pistonheads should really tighten up their adverts. Should be a selection of trusted members that can 'approve' ads, to filter out the cack.

They do it because on AT it is much cheaper to advertise cars under either £500 or £1000.. Can't remember which, but I'm sure that's why.

I HATE it when people put like "140" miles as the listed mileage but then in the description its 140,000 or 140k.... just soo annoying if you want to look at cars with a low mileage and keep seeing ones thinking "damn that's not a bad price"... but oh wait no.... they just outright lied to get into presumably a more popular search demographic. :(

See, I would have thought it's actually counter-productive to do that.

Someone after a low miler is going to take one look at the advert and disregard it, or worst case scenario, go and have a look, wasting both their and the seller's time. Conversely, someone after a high miler, e.g. budget constraints, is going to end up filtering that out.
