Aux Graphics power connector

There is an aux pex power connector on your m/board for a molex connector, which supplies power for the graphics card.

I have never supplied any power to this connector, missed it somehow,
only realised yesterday what it is for.
Would there be any benefit to my graphics card performance, and /or stability if i connected this to a molex power connector.
Am i loosing out by not connecting it up.
 
No, as its only for when your using 2x cards in either SLi/Xfire, as it supplies extra power to the slots, no need to use it if your only running a single card. :)
