Auzentech Prelude Questions

Hi, can anyone answer these for me please :-

1 : Does it come with an in-built low latency GM midi synth? I want to use some teach-yourself piano software that requires and GM sound module.

2 : What's the ASIO performance like in Win XP/Vista? I know it won't be on par with pro audio soundcards but can you run Cubase/Reason/Fruity at low latencies <384?

1: No, nothing like that is bundled with the product that I know of. As far as the software goes anyway.

2: I have no idea, and by the looks of it nobody else so far... All I can say its on par with the Auzentech X-Meridian, but is that even a pro card...?
