Still haven't ordered a soundcard for new machine - and have pondered the X-Fi stuff.
I currently have some logitech X-530's which are fine for what I need. However I do have an xbox and another pc which I would like to feed into the speakers.
So, I thought this card and some Z-5500s would allow me to output via coax to speakers, have the xbox go via digital and the other pc use the 3.5mm jacks.
(If that works - which not sure it will) it just leaves my Medussa 5.1 headpones at a loss, as they need the 3.5mm jacks to work (it's the older type with the external box).
I do like 5.1 headphones - but I can't see a way to get them into this potential setup (which may not be a bad thing as they aren't sheilded very well and buzz all the time).
Suggestions please..
