AV/Firewall

What anti-virus and firewall can you recomend for vista guys? On my xp machines I run avast and zonealarm. Interested to know what you people use.

NOD32 for AV and Vista's built in firewall.

Personally I run NOD32 and Sunbelt Kerio. If you want a free solution I'd say AVG/Avast/AntiVir/AOL's rebranded Kasperky for AV and then Sunbelt Kerio/Comodo for FW.

Yer a lot run NOD32, it didnt rate that highly in the sticky though.

Well I've been fine with it for nearly 2 years. I especially like its silence. It just gets on with its job and leaves me alone.

Another vote here for NOD32, use XP firewall and of course router is firewalled.

Kaspersky Internet Security 6 costs about £1 a month to buy a license.

NOD32+Comodo, great firewall and anti-virus.

In my experience NOD32 always picked up less viruses than Kaspersky did, Its just down to personal prefrence really.

I'm running the Vista firewall (Inbound + outbound) alongside my hardware firewall (inbound only), along with NOD32. Never had any problems.
