AV processor for separates

I've currently got an Arcam Alpha 6 amp which has been great, but we get our new house tomorrow so need to look into new TV and decent AV AMP / processor

Any recommendations..?

This sounds like it has potential Lexicon DC-2

Basically I was looking at around the £500 mark for this and I can deal with speakers later.

I suppos I just reluctant to get rid of my existing, yet old kit.

Arcam Alpha 6+
Marantz KI67 (I think) CD Player
Kef reference 1 speakers

MMm sounds expensive...

My other thought was one of these Denon compact systems..

The kef speakers are old too and I got them while we were in Hong Kong. Absolutely love them, but I'm sure they're not what they used to be compared to the current stuff.

Tried pursuading my father to part with his Meridian kit, but got told to errr go away

I think I'll just do one step at a time.

Get the processor, get Sky+, DVD players etc etc all hooked in etc. Then look at further speakers and power amps.

Sounds like total spend will be around the £1200 mark

I'll look at that later.. I know it's not in the same league as the arcam, rotel, meridian etc etc. We'll see. Wondering about optical outputs too for DVD player etc. I get my Sky+ installed tomorrow so I don't know what capabilities these units have.
