I have 2 Yamaha AMPS in the same room as one runs my setup downstairs. My problem is the remotes are exactly the same and every time I use the remote downstairs, its turning both AMPS on using a lot more electricity than I need.

Is there any way round this, so they don't work on the same IR channel?............ Am using a magic IR transmitter downstairs which sends all the commands upstairs
