Excuse my for not really knowing what im talking about, but i hope you'll understand what im after :p

We've got Sky on the TV downstairs and im planning on getting an AV receiver so i can get Sky in my room too, but i'd also like to have it in the other bedroom - is this possible?
I can't see any kits that come with 2 receiver thingys, can you have 2 running off one TV?

Thanks for any help :)

You indeed can easily do what you ask, obviously you will need to buy 2 sets of senders though in order to get 2 receivers.

Wireless AV Senders are crap. They are so fiddly and the results are poor.

I think if you can an RF cable from the RF2 output up into your attic you could use an amp (which is powered from the RF2 output) and send it to loads of rooms. Couple this with some remote eyes and you can control the box in the other rooms too.

Sounds expensive :p

Cost is very much an issue im afraid - and to be honest, its only to watch a film occasionally in bed, on a fuzzy old 14" TV, its not got to be perfect :)

Coax cable around 20p per metre.

Distribution amp under £20.

Few F connectors a couple of quid.

You can add the remote eyes at a later date, these are around a tenner each.

It's more work but I GUARANTEE that when you buy the wireless sender you will think of this thread and think if only I had gone the wired route I wont have all this fussing around.

Also, if it is a fuzzy old 14" tv does it have a scart socket?

Also by going my route you can send the TV a 4:3 picture and your downstairs TV a 16:9 picture. Assuming you have a widescreen tv?

What's the cost of two wireless senders? £100?
