So I've trying to set up my 'entertainment' area in my lounge/dining room for the given space. I've purchased a TV cabinet that will hold an LG OLED TV (Atmos and DD) + Sky Q + X Box One.
I'm currently planning get a soundbar (Sony HT ZF9 or HT ST5000). Given the size of the stand I don't the TV and soundbar will fit so I think I'll get the Sony HT ZF9.
However, I was wondering for the same price (£629) if I could get an AV receiver and speakers for the small space.
I could potentially get an AV (Onkyo NR555 - any good?) for £200ish. My issue is that the speakers would need to be maximum around 13cm wide and ideally not too high (60cm max). I'd move the cabinet slightly to the right so there's a space either side of it. Any possible suggestions or should I stick to a soundbar in my circumstances?
