AV sync issues

In the last couple of months I've got an intermittent issue where the TV picture and sound are not in sync. The video is faster than the sound by a few tenths of a second. Here is an incredible diagram of my setup:

All of the devices are linked by toslink cables so I have to turn the splitter depending on which source I want. I've had pretty much the same setup for 18 months without issue. This only started happening a few months ago when the following things changed:

1 - New TV, I used to have an LG 42LD450
2 - New cable between TV and optical switch (changed from 1m to 2m)
3 - Changed surround sound setting from A.F.D Multi to Pro Logic II (These terms are from memory so may be wrong).

I've had the sync issue when playing blu rays, and from the WDTV Live. I've never seen a delay when watching TV, and haven't noticed on the xbox (although I mostly play sports so wouldn't be able to tell anyway).

For option 3, I will rollback to the old setting and see if it makes a difference, but I doubt this is the issue as when you play blu rays I think it overrules this setting and uses proper dolby digital/dts. As the issue is so infrequent it might take a while to work out if it has worked as well.

Anything else that could be the issue here? I'm really hoping it's not the TV, but I doubt the cable is at fault, or the blu ray player (unless it's on its way out) so I can't see what else it can be.

**Edit** forgot to mention, the sound comes from the blu ray player rather than the TV speakers.

I doubt it's the switch as it's only one of these el cheapo jobbies:

So there's no software onboard, it's just a physical switch where you manually move the switch, so it's essentially just a cable extension. Plus I've had it all along without issues and the TV is connected using it which doesn't suffer from the delay

Yes, all sources are connected by HDMI. I've never seen the auto-lipsync option the TV. I've been through all the menus and I haven't come across it before. Is it definitely an option on this TV do you know? If so any hints as to what menu it's on?
