Available physical memory low on XP 64bit

Just installed XP 64bit and have noticed that whilst i have 4GB of RAM installed, in system info it says:-

Total physical memory - 3,838.85 MB
Available physical memory - 2.98GB
Total virtual memory - 5.51GB
Available virtual memory - 4.83GB
Page file size - 2.00GB

Any ideas of how to change this?

likely that the board can't properly support 4gb
