avast 7 peformance problems

hi just a quick question is anyone using avast 7 which was released the other day and found since installing it the performance of there systems degraded and applications took longer to open.

I installed it yesterday and found that my system was just about unusable it took me nearly 3 mins to get on to googe and 2 mins for my computer and control panel to open, if you are having issues with it i would recommend you to downgrade back to Avast 6 which works perfectly

This has been tested on 2 computers and happened on both systems :mad:

My PC and laptop have both been fine. Both run of ssds if that makes any difference.

My Avast 7 wants me to Finish my install now every time I boot, 6 times I've "finished" the installation now since upgrade. wtf

Such a great product previously and now it looks like the worst beta release went public or something.

i agree worst version yet i went back to 6 and all seems fine im running SSD on 1 of my computers and it was as if i was running a Pentium 3 processor the speed it was going

Oh yeah, it also keeps closing sidebar so I have to kickstart my desktop gadgets by going into gadgets once, if I open Avast control centre. Just terrible.

Going to downgrade to Avast 6 and live a happy life again.

Can't say i've had any issues on my desktop or netbook with the new version. Im sure if there are bugs they will be fixed soon enough.
