Avast Antivir stopped updating

Last time it successfully updated was the 13th, since then it tries to update but after a few files it times out. This is worryingly similar to what Kaspersky did before its free version packed in. Is this affecting anyone else or just me, on Virgin media btw.

how long have you had it?

the licence lasts 1 year, then you have to renew it (for free)

This is happening to me too, and I only got Antivir a few months ago...
