Avast! Online Security removal

Hey guys,

Just noticed this:

Windows 10; any explorer window, View -> Options

I've never used any Avast! apps? Ever. Any ideas on how to get rid?

Had a look and seems someone had the same issue here, even with Avast fully uninstalled: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=214951.0

Seems to be Avast forgetting to clean up the registry.

Run the avast removal tool see if that sorts it

Thanks chaps! @ Orcvader, yes, that is definitely it... any idea on how to clear with the FRST tool?

Realised... FRST just finds the stuff, you have to remove the reg keys etc., yourself.
