AVC has caused an error and must be closed

I paid for, downloaded and installed ImToo Video Converter Standard because I have had prior experience with ImToo software and I really like the simplicity of it

However, about 30% into a coversion of a single file I receive the following

I contacted ImToo and they have said to uninstall whatever version of the software I have and make sure I use the one that came from their site. But I am using the software that came from their site, I haven't had a further response yet. When I googled this error I see other people are getting this error when converting video, people who are not using ImToo so its obviously something outside of ImToo

Anyone have an idea?

they dont go above 45 degrees

so maybe if I find AVC encoder on the internet and replace this exe file with a newer one it might solve my problem

do you know the correct place to obtain AVC from?
