Avenge power Defender 100 build!

Well I got some free parts from my Dads friend a little while ago... and I have decided to make something out of them.

I have bought a cheap case the avenge power defender 100 case **

** No Hotlinking, particulary that of competitors - Rules on posting images ***

I have already started chopping it up and changing it.

Here is what I have done so far to it!

I got the motherboard out and swapped the processor out to a better one which was in the pile. It is now a Intel core 2 quad processor. No idea which one...

I got the power supply out. It is very old and I am going to chop the cables I dont need out of it.

I then started braiding the front panel connectors.

I then prepped the case to get some holes cut into it. These are 114mm sized holes and I am cutting two in the floor of the case, one in the front and a 83mm hole in the back of the case.

This is what it looks like after the cuts. The back doesnt look so good however. but after a bit of filing down it will look better... I do notice that the holes dont match up. Thats because the masking showed the right holes on it...

The case has now been dismantled, prepped for spraying and has now been started to be sprayed! I have given it two coats of primer and one coat of black spray paint so far! It is looking ballin!

looking good mate. are they just cosmetic and cooling upgrades?

The case itself is getting a cooling upgrade. The fans are the coolermaster sickleflow blue LED fans. So they are cosmetic as well! Going to get some blue cold cathodes to light the internals up a bit...
