They made too much of a big deal about the casting and filming of Doomsday, considering it's over 1 year away.

Logically speaking they need to release Spiderman:Brand New Day teasers/hype 1st, for next summer. It's unlikely, but I hope we don't see any teaser/trailer till next Summer, maybe even attached to Spiderman showings.

Imagine how much more impactful it would have been if they had not revealed who was under the Dr Doom mask and the first time you found out was during the film when the mask is taken off

Impossible with modern (social) media.

If it was possible though, that would have been pretty awesome. Sadly, as they announced it so early, and i've had plenty of time to think about it, i'm not at all keen on RDJ being in the film at all, let alone the main-ish character! They should have just picked a new actor and be done with it.

I watched the Infinity saga, Ironman - Endgame/Spiderman far from home and some Tv shows, Wandavision, Loki, Falcon & winter soldier and Hawkeye. Thats it. Am I missing anything to get me up to speed before this Doomsday comes out?

100%. I'm sure they wanted to, stupidly, keep these as cinema exclusives for at least a month.

I'm sure they will stick to each one debuting on week 2, 3 and 4 of Avatar, but will put it on YouTube a few days later each time.

It would be so pleasing for this to go back to the basic formula of the Avengers arc.. Good story, touches of humour, but overall.. a proper super hero movie..
