Average Temps X1950

Hi all was hoping you could help. I have just bought a sapphire X1950 pro 512MB AGP and I managed to squeze it into my shuttle lol and fingers crossed it seems to be working. I was just wondering what are the normal temperatures of the card as am getting 53˙C in windows 2D and about 59˙C in CS Source at the moment. Is this normal can anyone help.

temps seem good to me i have the pcie version in a well ventialted case i get 47 idle and about 55-60 depending on game im playing

Cheers for that seems to be ok then time will tell anyway. Erm am surprised it worked with the PSU to which is a 250watt shuttle PSU but seems to be fine upto now.

My HIS agp x1950pro 512mb is 45 at the mo, duno what it gets to when gaming, probably max of 10 deg more???

Ah I see well with the cover of my PC it idles at 45c like.

Those temps are perfectly fine.

Mine runs hot but well within limits at 60 idle and 75 under load.

Damn stupid sapphire design sucks in hot air.

Well cheers for all your help. So do you think I should just leave it in the shuttle or buy a bigger case and let this beast breathe a little?

My Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB AGP usualy idles at around 50, and goes to around 80 at full load.

i think it will be fine in your case no need to worry at them temps.

I've got the same card and with the stock cooling it idles at 45 and it gets to around 70 on full load. I've just put a Zalman vf900cu on and its lowered the temps by around 10 degrees.
