Avexir Memory LED's

I've had a search and can't seem to find much info about my avexir memory (2*4gb) in red.

Only one of the sticks pulses while the other stick is static, the system shows 8gb memory installed so not sure whats going on.

Anyone have any ideas?

Usually the sticks are both pulsing I believe. Changing it would likely void the warranty, so if it's bothering you return them.

afaik they are both supposed to pulse! you definitley have them in the right slots etc? (1,3) or (2,4) daft question i know

They'd pulse regardless of the slot they're in

Either the OP has a dodgy LED or they've accidentally stuck one of the static versions in there.

Both are in the correct slot (2,4) as recommended by my mobo manual.

I don't have a problem with it just find it strange that one pulses while the other is static

Avexir memory is sold both as Static and Pulse versions, but OCuk only sells the pulse one.

So, you've got lucky with a weird memory LED config chip.

Mine was pulse, wasn't sure if they sold both and it was just luck of the draw. Just some mismatched sticks by the sound of it.
