AVG 8 update loop issue?

Ok guys for the past week everytime i turn on my comp AVG updates and asks to restart my computer. I do so and all is fine until i restart again where it does the exact same thing Update - restart - fine - restart - update - restart - fine.

anyone else having this issue or know a way around it? for refference i'm on vista home premium x64

yep same problem here, well.. was until yesterday night when I went back to 7.5

just as a update i, uninstalled and reinstalled avg 8 and *touch wood* there is no problems.

avg is pants, if you want free av, use Avast
